Birthday

Celebrating 28 years of existence today.

I'm a much better state this year than I was last year. I'd been dreading my b-day then & still reeling from the loss of my job at the Rockwell Museum. I was uncertain about where my life was going & felt like I was wasting it. Fortunately, that's changed this year. I am now nearly done w/ my 1st semester of grad school & I'm enjoying it so far. I just moved into my own apartment for the 1st time. I made a promise to myself last year that I'd be out of my parents' house by the time I turned 28--I managed it w/ a week to spare.

Here's hoping things will continue on an upward trend this year.
